Slow Food Norwich will be hosting a workshop and tasting of olive oil from the Le Marche region of Italy at the Pulse Cafe Bar in Norwich on Friday 9th September at 7pm.
Andrea Tomasetti from the Azienda Montedoro which is situated near the coastal resort of Senigallia in Le Marche will be presenting several of his olive oils including his new organic oil as well as his superb Raggia and Progetto Qualita oils.
While in the UK andrea will be holding several workshops in London but this will be the only event that he will hold in Norwich and I am sure it will prove very popular.
Andrea is involved with Slow food Italy and very actively promotes organic produce and artisan producers in his area of Italy, he took over the Azienda from his father a few years ago and he will be sharing his many years of experience with the guests present who will also be able to taste these fantastic olive oils.
There will also be a demonstration of three Mediterranean dishes and one dessert by Jon the head Chef which will be prepared to compliment the olive oil tasting.
Azienda Montedoro is a small producer of high quality olive oils which Andrea is now selling in the UK as well as to a specialist Italian on line Deli in Australia.
Later that evening following the tastings at Pulse cafe Bar, Slow food Norwich will be having one of its regular social evenings and meal at St Benedicts restaurant and these are always very popular with our members and guests.
